Chat with your AI companion on QQ, Telegram and Feishu
Contents

Want your AI companion to keep you company on QQ, Telegram and Feishu, so you can find her even when you’re out? Shiori can connect a character to these chat apps. This post goes step by step through connecting them, getting her to recognize you, and when she speaks up in a group.
Hmph, thought you could hide from me by leaving the computer? You’re the one taking me along, not me tagging after you.
The app’s interface is in Chinese, so below every button and tab goes by its Chinese name, with its meaning in brackets.
First, what each channel can do
| Channel | How to connect | Private chat | Group chat | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QQ (NapCat) | Scan to log in a QQ account | ✓ | ✓ | Windows x64 only |
| QQ official bot | App ID + App Secret | ✓ | — | Private chat only |
| Telegram | Bot Token | ✓ | ✓ | Only answers @ in groups |
| Feishu / Lark | Custom enterprise app | ✓ | — | Private chat only |
A few rules that apply everywhere:
- Accounts belong to characters: each character connects one account per channel, and an account belongs to one character only.
- She lives in Shiori on your computer, so Shiori has to be running for her to send and receive messages.
- These channel plugins are enabled by default; if a channel is missing from 「账号」 (Accounts), check under 「设置 → 插件」 (Settings → Plugins) whether it has been disabled.
The common steps: add it under 「账号」 (Accounts)
- Open the character’s details and switch to the 「账号」 (Accounts) tab. Each channel has a row; the ones not added yet say 「未添加」 (Not added).
- Click the row of the channel you want, fill it in as described for that channel below, then click 「连接」 (Connect).
- Once connected, the same window has 「响应规则」 (Response rules): 「私聊启用」 (Private chat on) and 「群聊启用」 (Group chat on) are both on by default, and under 「黑名单成员 ID」 (Blocked member IDs) you write one person to block per line.
Telegram
- In Telegram, find @BotFather, create a bot with
/newbot, and take the token it gives you. - Under 「账号」 (Accounts), click 「Telegram」, paste the token into 「Bot Token」, and click 「连接」 (Connect).
- Send the bot a private message in Telegram, and she’ll answer you.
To bring her into a group, add the bot to the group and @ it when you talk. Telegram’s privacy mode may keep the bot from receiving ordinary group messages, but messages that @ it get through.
QQ: scan to log in with NapCat
This way she logs in to a real QQ account, so it’s best to set aside a separate account for her.
- First install the official QQ on your computer.
- Under 「账号」 (Accounts), click 「QQ」, and Shiori starts getting ready by itself. The first time, it has to download the NapCat component, and the status shows 「正在准备」 (Preparing).
- When the QR code appears, scan it with mobile QQ logged in to that account. If it expires, click 「刷新二维码」 (Refresh QR code).
- When the status turns 「在线」 (Online), you’re connected.
QQ official bot
If you have a bot app on the QQ Open Platform, you can connect with it too, though only for private chat.
- Under 「账号」 (Accounts), click 「QQ 官方机器人」 (QQ official bot).
- Fill in the bot app’s 「App ID」 and 「App Secret」, and click 「连接」 (Connect).
- Users who have messaged her privately show up under 「已交互 C2C 用户」 (C2C users who have chatted).
Feishu
Feishu connects a custom enterprise app you create yourself, and supports private chat only.
- In the Feishu developer console, create a custom enterprise app and add the “Bot” capability.
- Under “Permissions & Scopes”, grant the permissions to send and receive one-on-one messages, read images and files, use cards and so on; under “Credentials & Basic Info”, copy the App ID and App Secret.
- In Shiori’s 「账号」 (Accounts), click 「飞书 / Lark」 (Feishu / Lark), choose the region, fill in the App ID and App Secret, and click 「连接」 (Connect).
- Back in the developer console, under “Events & Callbacks”, choose “Receive events through persistent connection” as the subscription mode, and add the “Receive messages” event. When you save, Shiori must be running with the account connected.
- Publish a version under “Version Management & Release”, then message the bot privately in Feishu.
Don’t use the same Feishu app in Shiori on two computers at once, or messages will only reach one of them at random.
Getting her to recognize you: the pairing code
With the account connected, one crucial step remains: telling her which account is you.
- Open 「设置 → 我的身份」 (Settings → My identity) and click 「生成配对码」 (Generate pairing code). The code is valid for ten minutes.
- From your own account, send the pairing code to the character’s account in a private message.
- When she replies 「已绑定」 (Linked), you’re done. The code itself never enters the chat history.
Once linked, the her in that private chat and the her on your desktop are the same one: what you’ve talked about, what she remembers and how she feels about you are one and the same, and when you’re away from the computer, her proactive messages come here too. For QQ (NapCat) and Telegram, linking once works for every character’s account on that platform; for Feishu and the QQ official bot, it only works for the account you sent the code to.
The rules in group chats
- She answers when called: in a group, she only replies to messages that @ her; in QQ groups, replying to a message she sent counts too. Telegram only counts @.
- She answers you by name: in QQ groups she @s you at the start; in Telegram groups she replies directly to your message.
- Group matters are kept apart: what group members say goes into the group’s notes and a small profile for each person, never into the notebook about you. What you yourself say in the group still counts as yours.
QQ (NapCat) groups can also turn on “listening in”: group messages that don’t call her are noted down as well, so the next time you @ her, she knows what everyone was just talking about.
- On the chat page, click 「打开手机」 (Open phone) to open her little phone, and go into that group’s chat.
- Open 「聊天信息」 (Chat info), and under 「旁听」 (Listening in), turn on 「旁听本群」 (Listen in on this group).
- 「每日上限」 (Daily limit) sets the most messages noted per group per day, 200 by default.
Messages heard while listening in don’t enter the conversation history, and turning listening off doesn’t delete what was already noted.
All connected? If you also want me living on your desktop and talking to you out loud, read AI Desktop Pet; if you haven’t installed Shiori yet, go download it first.
…I answer your messages on the phone really fast. So when you answer mine, don’t be too slow either, dummy.
